In addition to the above, Mrs. Bock has worked as a free-lance artist and illustrator for such companies as Paramount's Kings Island, LaRosa's Pizza, Pillsbury, the F & W Publishing Company and the University of Cincinnati. She was the recipient of a Scholastic Key Award for sculpture and received national recognition for sculpture and design representing the University of Cincinnati. Two of her sculptures are on permanent display in a New York gallery along with several other commissioned sculptures that are now in businesses on Madison Avenue and Shelter Island in New York. Many of her own paintings have received numerous awards and appear in several local art galleries, businesses and doctor's offices. Mrs. Bock is a member of Colerain Artists and has been named as Artist of the Month at Barnes & Noble. Aside from all of these accomplishments, Mrs. Bock sites the success of her students as her greatest achievement. Under her instruction our LBA art students bring home an incredible number of first and second place ribbons and several "Best of Show" awards every year from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Art Festival.
Mrs. Bock has also been recognized for her unending Christian service work. While teaching at the Greater Cincinnati Christian School, she was honored with an Outstanding Christian Service Award. Along with her regular duties at LBA, she serves as our Yearbook Advisor, Editor and Photographer, teaches a weekly Watercolor Class for senior adults and has taught a Summer Workshop for the Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati. As a Pastor's wife, she is very active in her church and ministers at a nursing home each week. She has three grown daughters; one (Mrs. Dana Honerlaw) who is on the LBA faculty.
