Liberty Bible Academy, founded in 1984, is an interdenominational school serving families of the greater Cincinnati area. We provide a strong academic and spiritual foundation upon which a future of learning and service to Christ can be built, focusing in all areas including spiritual development, instruction, and extra-curricular activities.

COMMUNITY:

Liberty Bible Academy is located in Mason, Ohio, which has a population of over 34,000 persons living in a 25 square mile area. Forty-three percent of all county residents over 25 years of age have completed four years of college. Most Liberty Bible Academy students live in Mason, Ohio and surrounding areas. The immediate community consists of light industrial, retail, and residential areas. Students from a growing range of ethnic, cultural, racial, and economic backgrounds live in our community and attend the academy. Approximately 40% of our student population is culturally diverse.

INSTRUCTIONAL ORGANIZATIONS:

The students are separated into three distinct, yet coordinated divisions: pre-school (3-4 years), elementary (K-4), and middle school (5-8). Christian curriculum is used in all of the instructional process and Bible class is required at all grade levels. A heavy academic course load is expected at each level. The three sections operate on their own schedules with middle school students having minimal contact with the elementary and preschool population. The school also maintains its own library of over 4500 volumes for use by the school population. Before and after school supervision is provided at the K-8 levels.

ELEMENTARY:

Kindergarten at Liberty Bible Academy offers a delightful learning experience. Meeting five full days per week, students learn to read phonetically and begin to write with cursive penmanship!  Kindergarten students enjoy a complete educational program designed to help them establish a firm foundation for a lifetime of learning. This includes a variety of hands-on activities, visual aids, and circle times which help develop readiness, language, and social skills.

Grades 1 through 4 engage each child through a rigorous academic program which focuses on individual responsibility, self-discipline, and spiritual caliber. Students learn in a structured environment which reaches into the disciplines of Bible, language, science, history, mathematics, foreign language, music, and art. A variety of field trips complement instruction.

MIDDLE SCHOOL:

The Liberty Bible Academy Middle School program encompasses grades 5 through 8. Our program is developmentally appropriate and designed to reach academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of students between the ages of 11-14 years. The middle school offers all core academic subjects including, Math, Science, English (including Reading, Spelling, and Writing), Social Studies, and Physical Education. All students also have the opportunity to explore the Fine Arts through classes in Art and Music, and also take special classes in Spanish and Computer. As a Christian school, we require students to take Bible for each year of their attendance. Text materials come mainly from A Beka, and ACSI.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

Drama, yearbook, Bible quizzing, chess club and music instruction are offered at various grade levels. Private piano lessons and art lessons are available from Kindergarten on up. Students in grades 5-8 can choose to study a band instrument through private and/or group instruction.
